Resistance Stretching
Thirty years ago, StretchWork’s Tom Longo found a way to combine a love of physics and an MIT degree in Mechanical Engineering into his current passion: Optimizing the mechanics of the human body through Resistance Stretching, a modality he describes as “highly complex, scientifically based flexibility training to improve the health and functioning of muscles.”
StretchWorks’ clientele ranges from ages 8 to 80 and covers all physical abilities. Some look to recover from injury or surgery, while others aim to fine-tune and supercharge their bodies. Every client gets a customized training program and is offered advice to optimize overall well-being. StretchWorks also offers strength training and yoga classes.
